Waiting on Wednesday

“Waiting On” Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

My WoW this week is (insert drumroll here):

Goodreads Description:

Just as Sophie Mercer has come to accept her extraordinary magical powers as a demon, the Prodigium Council strips them away. Now Sophie is defenseless, alone, and at the mercy of her sworn enemies—the Brannicks, a family of warrior women who hunt down the Prodigium. Or at least that’s what Sophie thinks, until she makes a surprising discovery. The Brannicks know an epic war is coming, and they believe Sophie is the only one powerful enough to stop the world from ending. But without her magic, Sophie isn’t as confident.

Sophie’s bound for one hell of a ride—can she get her powers back before it’s too late?

Why I’m waiting…

This series has made it’s way into my heart. I’ve loved every book so far and the last one left off with such a HUGE cliffhanger that I can’t wait to see what happens. There was so much going on my mouth was literally left open at the end.

Sophie has become one of my favorite characters to read. I love her sarcasm and snarkiness. She has a great sense of humor and is so lovable. I read each of these books in practically one sitting.

Rachel Hawkins leaves every chapter making you not want to stop.

I really can’t wait to get this into my hands.
