Waiting On Wednesday 3/28/12

“Waiting On Wednesday” is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.

This week’s WoW:

Goodreads Description:

If you live in the dark long enough, you begin to forget the light…

KORI DANIELS is a shadow-walker, able to travel instantly from one shadow to another. After weeks of confinement for betraying her boss, she’s ready to break free of the Tower syndicate for good. But Jake Tower has one final job for Kori, one chance to secure freedom for herself and her sister, Kenley, even if that means taking it from someone else…

The job? Recruit Ian Holt—or kill him.

Ian’s ability to manipulate the dark has drawn interest from every syndicate in the world, most notably an invitation from Jake Tower. Though he has no interest in organized crime, Ian accepts the invite, because he’s on a mission of his own. Ian has come to kill Tower’s top Binder: Kori’s little sister.

Amid the tangle of lies, an unexpected thread of truth connecting Ian and Kori comes to light. But with opposing goals, they’ll have to choose between love and liberty….

Why I’m waiting:

If you don’t know already, I am a HUGE Rachel Vincent fan. I fell in love with her first unbound book Blood Bound. I was fascinated with the world that Vincent created. The twists and turns that were in the story blew my mind.

I’m really excited for the next installment. It’s different perspectives, and new characters. I’m so stoked about this. I’ve already pre-ordered my copy.

Expected publication: May 22nd 2012 by Mira

  1. Great pick! I can’t wait to read this one too! Blood Bound was one of my favorite reads last year. I love Rachel’s writing. She’s is one of my favorite authors 🙂

  2. Yes! Yes! Yes! This is one of my MOST anticipated books of the year! Blood Bound is my very favorite RV book. I hope Liv and Cam are in the book. ❤ them!

  3. I am hopefully reading BB very soon. I’ve got one book ahead of it. I’ve read RV’s YA series, Soul Screamers, but I have yet to read any of her adult stuff so I can’t wait. Once I’m done with BB I’ve got SB waiting in the wings. They both look really good.
