This week’s SSS is from:
Done with being the world’s biggest pushover, Haley decides that things are going to change starting with the aggravating neighbor who has too much charm and not enough restraint. What she didn’t expect was to sucked into his world, but Haley has a game plan and she won’t let herself forget just what the bad boy next door is capable of. The last thing Jason expected was for his little shy neighbor to go Rambo on him over some ruined flowers. After he decides to take her under his wing he can’t help but that notice that she fits very nicely in his life. Now the only left is to convince her that this is anything but a game.
So, once again I’ve read this book along with April @ Sim Sational Books. We’ve made a pact to read all of our erotica’s together. It’s completely awesome because we have the same views on them.
I got to pick this week’s choice and I was VERY happy with this book! It was a nice change from last week’s crazy. LOL
So this book was dripping with cuteness. No joke. This book has to be an instant favorite with the comedy and the complete cute.
Haley & Jason have been neighbors for five years. Ever since the very first months of moving in, Jason has been making Haley’s life completely miserable. Because she is so shy, she has never said anything about it.
Not only is he next door but he works with her and drives her crazy there too! Well, Haley has finally had enough and is ready to stand up for herself. Little did she know she’d be in for a long ride 😉 Metaphorically speaking of course.
Once Haley comes out of her shell, she and Jason become best friends. Then, in turn, becomes more.
I have to tell you I couldn’t believe how funny this book it. I have no idea how to really describe this book. Everything about it was perfect. I cannot wait to read more from this author.
There were, of course, cheesy parts but an erotica without cheesy parts is like cake without frosting. 🙂
The interaction and joking between Jason and Haley was hilarious and so real. I loved it. It was the normal interactions that normal people would have. Oh! And brownie points for becoming friends before lovers. BIG brownie points. Also more brownie points for plot and story line 😉
I really, really enjoyed this book. Seriously. I kept texting April throughout and could not get over how I adored this and how cute it was.
“You are so beautiful, Haley,” he said softly. He’d said that to other women before, but never meant it more. She was beautiful inside and out.
Instead of shoving him away she wrapped one arm around his shoulders while she gently ran her fingers through his hair. That’s how he fell asleep in the cradle of the woman he trusted and cared about most in the world. It was absolutely perfect.
